On 1^st July 2007, we held our blood donation drive when members of the Tian Di Prayer Hall visited the Northern Blood Donation centre at Bundoora. The day was specially catered by the Australian Red Cross to enable our members to donate blood. It was a hectic morning for our eager members as well as the workers there, going through interviews, assessments and the actual donation itself. At the end of the afternoon, there were 38 successful donations for the Red Cross and we left with a happy feeling, knowing that we have done our little bit to help those in need. We would like to take the opportunity here to thank those at the Australian Red Cross who have helped us through our blood donation drive that day and the patience they showed to each one of us.

As the Australian Red Cross advises, each donation can help save up to three lives. Wouldn’t it be great if we could help save more than their lives? So what is more important than our physical lives? Well, it is our spiritual self. Humans are made up of two parts, the physical body which is given to us by our affinity with our parents, and the spiritual body which is given to us by our Heavenly Mother or any other terms we use to name the Higher Being.
